Milkipur Assembly bypoll: The Election Commission on India (ECI), on Tuesday revealed the timetable for the Assembly by poll for UP Milkipur. According to Election Commission, the voting for the Milkipur constituency will take place on February 5 and the results will be available three days later on February 8.

With the announcement of Milkipur by-election dates on 3rd February, the ruling party BJP aims to build on its winning streak as the opposition party, Samajwadi Party, seeks to keep its grip on this high-profile seat.

It remains to be seen if SP’s ‘PDA’ formula will once again play the role it did in respect of this seat during the 2022 UP polls, or if the BJP is able to convert the caste impossibility to its advantage.
