Mahindra’s Electric SUVs XEV 9e and BE 6 Break Records with 30,179 Bookings on Day 1:

Mahindra’s newly launched electric sports utility vehicles (SUVs) – the XEV 9e and BE 6 – have witnessed a tremendous response, securing 30,179 bookings on the first day. The total booking value stands at an impressive Rs 8,472 crore (ex-showroom price).

Bookings for the complete lineup of XEV 9e and BE 6 commenced on Friday, marking a significant milestone for Mahindra in the EV market.

According to an official statement by Mahindra & Mahindra, the booking split between the two models stands at 56 per cent for the XEV 9e and 44 per cent for the BE 6.

Notably, the top-end Pack Three variant, featuring a 79 kWh battery, accounted for 73 per cent of the total bookings across both models.

The price range for the XEV 9e and BE 6 falls between Rs 18.9 lakh and Rs 30.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra expressed his excitement on X, stating, “Mahindra electric origin SUVs create a new record in the EV category by clocking 30,179 bookings on Day 1 with a booking value of Rs 8,472 crore (at ex-showroom price).”

The company highlighted that the overwhelming demand reflects customer confidence in Mahindra’s Unlimit India vision, which aims to deliver innovative, world-class electric SUVs that combine luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology.

“Mahindra remains committed to ensuring a seamless and transparent delivery experience. Customers will receive their tentative delivery timelines within the next three weeks through regular updates,” the company assured.
