Maharashtra Cyber captured the social media influencer Apoorva Makhija’s statement on the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, an officer claimed on Tuesday.

The Cyber state police unit of Maharashtra in connection with the obscenity case is probing podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s statements delivered during Samay Raina’s YouTube talk show. The police was interested in the show India’s Got Latent after Allahbadia's inappropriate remarks about parents and sex, which created a lot of turbulence.

Makhija is one of the people who has been named in the obscenely registered case with the Maharashtra Cyber. She went in front of the auhoritiesthis afternoon. She has been interrogated regarding the matter in the past, the officer noted.

She, along with the other defendants for making objectionable comments during the YouTube segment, attended the Mumbai police meeting, he added.

On Monday, YouTube stars Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani both were called to statements at the headquarter of cyber in Navi Mumbai.

He added that after notice by the Maharashtra cyber, Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani attended the notice for recording statements on Monday at the central office of the agency in Mahape Navi Mumbai.

Also summoned to attend is Rakhi Sawant on February 27, who also participated in the show as a guest, he added.

The Cyber Police in Maharashtra are still to obtain the testimony from Samay Raina, the comedian and YouTuber who hosted the talk show titled ‘India’s Got Latent’ as heard from the official. It is also BJP MP Tejasvi Surya's Show and Also Judge Show. The Assam Police is also looking into the obscenity complaint against expo Allahbadia and many other people.
