Massive Crowds in Ayodhya for Maghi Purnima

Ayodhya has witnessed a huge influx of devotees for Maghi Purnima Snan. Thousands have taken a holy dip in the Saryu River, with an estimated 15 lakh devotees expected to visit during this time. Additionally, entry of heavy vehicles into Ayodhya Dham has been prohibited. The traffic diversion plan has been expanded from yesterday to manage the crowd effectively.

Administration on High Alert for Maghi Purnima Bathing

To ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage, the district administration and police have designated holding areas for vehicles at the borders of Ambedkarnagar, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, and Amethi. Despite these measures, the highway is witnessing heavy traffic pressure as devotees continue to move towards Ayodhya, with many opting to travel on foot.

In Ayodhya, four-wheelers are being parked at Udaya intersection near Teedi Bazaar, from where pilgrims proceed to the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on foot.

The administration remains on high alert to manage the crowds and ensure the safety of all devotees during this significant religious occasion.
