Additionally, micro-industry entrepreneurs (small business owners) can now avail an MSME credit card with a limit of up to ₹5 lakh. If you want to benefit from this scheme, you must first register on the Udyam Portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Step-by-Step Guide to Register on the Udyam Portal

To apply for an MSME credit card, follow these steps to register on the Udyam Portal:

Step 1: Visit the Official Udyam Portal

 Go to the official Udyam Portal: https://msme.gov.in/
 Click on the ‘Quick Links’ section.
 Select ‘Udyam Registration’ from the options.

Step 2: Aadhaar Verification

 A registration form will appear. Enter the following details:
 Aadhaar Number
Entrepreneur’s Name
 An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
 Enter the OTP to verify your Aadhaar details.

Step 3: PAN Verification & Business Details

 A PAN verification page will open.
 Provide details about your previous ITR (Income Tax Return).
 Fill in business details in the ‘Udyam Registration For’ section:
 Business Name & Address
 Bank Details
 Business Location
 Number of Employees
Other necessary business information

Step 4: Submit & Get Your Udyam Certificate

 Click on Submit to complete the process.
 An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
 Enter the OTP and click on Submit.
 Your Udyam e-Registration Certificate will be sent to your registered email ID.
