The Indian market would soon see the arrival of Hero Motocorp Xtreme 250R as the company plans on promoting premium bikes starting from the year 2025. The bike is expected to go against the KTM 250 Duke once it launches. While gearing up for the launch the bike was spotted in Delhi-NCR as it was filmed for a TVC, it will also be featured in EICMA.

Coming to the design, the bike gets an aggressive street-fighter look owing to the unique design of the LED headlight and fuel tank which are accented with strong character lines. The brand has also added tank extensions which follow the same pattern as the tank with sharp edges. The logo, graphics, bike side panels, and color combination all came together to finally present the bike.

The bike has a steel trellis frame which is secured by a 43 mm USD fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. It has disc brakes at both ends and also features switchable ABS for added safety. These brakes are fitted to 17-inch wheels. In addition, the brand is expected to introduce features like a digital instrument cluster.

Hero Xtreme 250R is powered with a robust 250 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine. This unit is tuned to produce 30 bhp at 9,250 revolutions per minute and 25Nm while reving at 7,250 revolutions per minute. This power unit is mated with a six-speed transmission. It is also anticipated to be the base for brand’s new XMR 250. This will be a full faired bike which is not very common in the brand's family.
