Ingredients to make Boondi Raita

to Bundi

Gram flour – 2 bowls

Salt – 1/4 tsp

Water – 1 cup

oil for frying

for ryot

Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp

Kashmiri red chili – 1/4 tsp

Chopped coriander – 2 tsp

Hot water – 1 cup

Salt – 1/4 tsp

How to make Boondi Raita?

To make Boondi Raita, first take a deep bottomed vessel and put gram flour in it. After this, make gram flour by mixing 1/4 teaspoon salt and a little water. Whisk the dough well until smooth. After this add 1 tbsp oil to the batter and beat it again. After whisking for about 2 minutes, a smooth and thick batter will be ready. Now heat oil in a pan on medium flame. After the oil is hot, take a sieve with small holes, put gram flour in it and pat it slowly, due to this a drop of gram flour will fall in the oil. Add gram flour as per the capacity of the pan. When the boondi becomes crispy, take it out in a bowl. Similarly, prepare boondi from all the gram flour.

Now put the prepared boondi in a cup of hot water and leave it for 10 minutes. After this, take out the boondi from the water and squeeze it lightly and keep it aside. Now put one cup of curd in a bowl and whisk it. After this add cumin, chili powder and salt as per taste and mix. After mixing all the ingredients, whisk the curd well. After this, mix the soaked boondi in the curd. Garnish green coriander from above. Delicious Boondi Raita is ready.
