  • 1 cup boiled mug
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger

  • 1/2 cup modified capsicum
  • 4 cloves cloves
  • 2 nos modified green chilies
  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste

To make Matka Pilaf, first take a sprouted mug and clean it and boil it. Now put about half the rice in the cooker. Finely chop the white part of green onion and capsicum. Now take an earthen pot and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and fry for some time. Add ginger, chillies, asafoetida and cloves and fry them in oil. After a while, add onions and fry for 2-3 minutes. When onion turns light brown, add capsicum and fry for a minute. Now add turmeric, red chili, cumin and salt.

Now take out half of the spices that are ready. Then make a layer of rice on top of the matka masala, then add the remaining masala and make another layer of rice on it. Cover the mouth of the vessel with a cup and seal it with flour. This will make the pilaf better and the taste of spices will also be good. Now put the vessel on low gas and let the casserole rise. In 10 minutes your delicious pulao will be ready. You can serve it with vegetable or sauce.
