Yamuna River poison row

The dispute about Yamuna water has emerged as a core subject of Delhi political consultation because Kejriwal holds the BJP-ruled Haryana government responsible for water contamination.

On January 27 Kejriwal accused the BJP administration of Haryana for poisoning the water being transported to Delhi through the Yamuna supply channel. Engineers from DJB successfully identified the contamination while stopping the water supply which prevented any affected water from entering Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party leader stated that Delhi would have experienced a massive population elimination because of the mixed toxic water.

He stated that the BJP was seeking to poison Delhi's water supply for the purpose of creating confusion which would lead to public fatalities that AAP would receive blame for.

The Election Commission sent Kejriwal two notices about this incident when the BJP filed a formal complaint.
