Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has garnered astounding attention at the box office, reeling in a staggering Rs 219.75 crore net in the first week itself across all languages. The film has recorded the most impressive numbers in its first week. Laxman Utekar’s directorial venture produced by Maddock Films has managed to gather a massive audience across all demographics solidifying its position among the most successful films of the year.
Stellar First Week Collection
This historical action drama was set to release with a bang and did as expected. The film managed to collect Rs 31 crores on day one which was a Friday. It also made Rs 37 crores on Saturday and a peak collection of Rs 48.5 crores on Sunday. While the weekday figures did drop, they did not fall substantially. Monday reported Rs 24 crores, Tuesday reported Rs 25.25 crores, and Wednesday reported Rs 32 crores. The film ended the first week with an estimated Rs 22 crores collection on Thursday, giving it a cumulative total of Rs 219.75 crores for the week.
Occupancy and Audience Response
Ever since its release, Chhaava has been a blockbuster performing exceedingly well for all night shows. On Thursday, February 20, 2025, the film had a Hindi collection occupancy of 27.96%, while the night shows alone had an astonishing 41.58%. The afternoon and evening shows had lower but still satisfactory numbers as well with 24.14% and 28.88%, respectively. The unique plot and Vicky Kaushal’s emotional display have drawn the crowds in.

Other than Vicky Kaushal, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.
