SBI ATM Rules: Important news for SBI customers! Big change in ATM transaction charges, check new charges
State Bank Of India ATM Rules: If you are a customer of State Bank of India, then there is an important news for you. The bank has made a big announcement for its customers, which will directly benefit the customers. Under this, if you maintain a balance of up to Rs 1 lakh, then you will not have to pay any charge on ATM transactions. Not only this, if you withdraw money from another bank’s ATM, then you will get three transactions for free.

Under the new rule, customers will have to pay a separate fee for withdrawing money from ATMs after a certain limit. Now you will have to pay a charge of Rs 5 to 20 depending on the SBI and non SBI ATMs. If you withdraw more than the prescribed limit from SBI ATMs, you will have to pay a fee of up to Rs.10 and if you withdraw more than the prescribed limit from non-SBI ATMs, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 20.

Now under the new rule one, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 5 for checking balance from SBI’s bank ATM and Rs 8 for checking balance from other banks’ ATMs. But if you have a balance of more than Rs 1 lakh, then you will not have to pay any charge.
On the other hand, for international balance transactions, you will have to pay 3.5 per cent of the total transaction charge plus an additional Rs 100. That is, under the new rule, SBI customers will get a big benefit. Now you will be able to use the bank’s ATM comfortably without any charges, but for this it will be mandatory to have 1 lakh rupees in your account.
