Petrol and diesel prices stable, crude oil around $ 86 per barrel
New Delhi, 24 November (Hindustan Times). Crude oil prices continue to fluctuate in the international market. In the last 24 hours, Brend crude is down by more than 2 percent and is close to $ 85 per barrel, while WTI crude is trending close to $ 78 per barrel. However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not made any change in the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol remained at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per liter in Delhi on Thursday. Petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 106.31 and diesel is Rs 94.27 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 and diesel costs Rs 92.76 per litre. Similarly, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai.
It is worth mentioning that in the opening trade on the fourth day of the week, Brent crude is down by $ 0.23, or 0.27 percent, and is trending at $ 85.18 per barrel. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude is also trading at $ 77.89 per barrel, down by $ 0.05, or 0.06 percent. Despite this, oil prices in the country have remained stable for more than the last four months.
