Ed Sheeran’s India Tour Off to a Spectacular Start

Currently on his six-city India tour, Sheeran kicked things off with a show in Pune on January 30. The British singer-songwriter embraced the local vibe, even donning a t-shirt that read “Pune,” which sent the crowd into a frenzy.

During the concert, Sheeran took a moment to express his gratitude, sharing how thrilled he was to expand his India tour beyond Mumbai, where he had performed on previous visits. He also spoke about his love for India, describing how every trip feels like a new adventure.

The opening act for the India leg of Sheeran’s Mathematics tour was singer-actor Dot., known for her role in The Archies. The Pune concert even saw members of England’s cricket team in attendance, including skipper Jos Buttler and all-rounder Liam Livingstone. Speaking to BookMyShow Live, Buttler shared his love for touring in India, calling it “the best place to tour” and praising the passionate support of Indian fans.
