A unique record made in Sydney
In the Sydney Test, both teams could not reach the 200-run mark in their first innings. With this, a new record was created in Sydney. This is the second time in the last 70 years of Test cricket history of Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) that both teams have been all out before 200 runs in the first innings of a Test. 44 years ago, such a unique incident was witnessed in Sydney when both teams could not cross the 200-run mark in the first innings. This happened in the Test match played between England and Australia in 1979-80. In this Test match, England's first innings were restricted to 123 runs while Australia's team was all out for 145 runs in the first innings.
