This Valentine's Day, the box office is gearing up for a cinematic storm as the highly anticipated Bollywood film Chhaava is set to hit theaters. Directed by Laxman Utekar, this historical drama brings to life the legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the valiant ruler of the Marathi Empire from the Bhosle clan. Starring Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, the film also features Akshaye Khanna as the formidable Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Ever since the release of its trailer, Chhaava has been generating immense buzz. The excitement is so high that the makers have launched advance bookings a full five days before the film's release—an early indicator of its blockbuster potential.

The wait is over! On February 9, the film’s team officially opened advance ticket bookings, announcing the news with a striking poster. Their caption read:
"Worldwide advance booking is now open! Witness the story of valour and sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj on the big screen in just five days."
Box Office Collection Before Release
Even before its official release, Chhaava is raking in impressive numbers. According to Sacnilk, nearly 9,398 tickets had already been sold at the time of reporting, translating into a pre-release earning of ₹33 lakh. If this is just the beginning, the film's performance on Valentine’s Day could be record-breaking!
Star-Studded Cast
The film boasts an ensemble cast, with Vicky Kaushal taking on the powerful role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna portraying his wife, Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna will be seen in a gripping antagonist role as Aurangzeb, while veteran actors Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Pratip Singh Ram Rawat add depth to the historical narrative.
