9 Arrested in Jaunpur as Case Surfaces of a Minor Girl Being Raped by 5 Boys:

A shocking piece of news has emerged from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh where five men accused of raping a minor girl. The police have now arrested 9 of the suspects. A passerby called the police after finding the girl lying unconscious on the roadside. The police came and took the girl to the community health center for treatment.

A 49-Year Man Aided Both Physically And Mentally To All The Assaulters

The crime is said to have taken place last night at the exhibition ground near Shahganj Kotwali police station where a minor girl was raped by five boys and their four peers assisted in this. They later left her on the road and went away. A local contacted the authorities and told them about the incident. Sunil Kumar Yadav, a bystander, stated that he was on the road and noticed a girl lying parts some distance. The first thing that passed his head was to pick up the phone and call 112.

The police received the girl’s complaint.

As part of the ongoing treatment process, the girl filed a written complaint stating she had been raped by five boys and four others aided in the act. After this, the police took immediate action considering the seriousness of the case. On receiving the complaint of the victim, five police teams were formed on the instructions of the SP and then the teams got ready to arrest the accused.

In the meantime, we were informed that all the accusers were combining in a deserted building which they were using as a strategic point for an escape plan. On this information police surrounded the area and attempted to execute an arrest on the accusers. The accusers fled by jumping off the roof and running. This caused some of the accusations to sustain injuries while fleeing us to tend to them at the hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment. The mobile phones and personal items these suspect had in their possession were confiscated.
