Jaipur. The Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) filed an FIR on Sunday against 38 police officers in Jalore district. These officers obtained jobs using forged documents and by having dummy candidates appear in recruitment exams. Police Headquarters had received information about this.

According to reports, after cases of fraud in police constable recruitment exams and physical efficiency tests surfaced in the past few years, the state government's Police Recruitment and Promotion Board directed all district police superintendents to investigate. The Jalore District Superintendent of Police also received similar instructions.

What did the instructions say?

The directive called for a comprehensive investigation, including the documents of the police officers. Police Headquarters also directed that a list of suspected police officers be sent to the Special Operations Group (SOG). Following this, the Jalore District Superintendent of Police conducted a comprehensive investigation, including the documents, of 38 suspected police officers recruited in 2018.
