Preparations are underway to make the Maha Kumbh grand this time in Prayagraj. There is not much time left for the start of the Maha Kumbh. In such a situation, preparations are going on here in full swing. Meanwhile, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav inspected the Ganga Bridge in Prayagraj. Along with this, he also took stock of the re-development work done at the station. 12 new foot-over bridges have been built at the railway station here. Apart from this, a total of 23 permanent holding areas have been built. Mobile ticketing will also be used during the Maha Kumbh. Apart from this, QR codes will be installed, so that the ticket can be downloaded directly from the app.
Maha Kumbh special trains will run from 50 cities
.The control rooms made for railway security during Maha Kumbh will be connected to the district control room. Apart from this, an additional 8000 RAF soldiers will be deployed during Maha Kumbh. Security will be called from different states speaking different languages. During Maha Kumbh, Maha Kumbh special trains will come to Prayagraj from 50 cities across the country. 20 lakh passengers will reach Prayagraj by train in a day during Maha Kumbh. During this, 9 stations have been selected to control the crowd, which will be directly connected to Triveni Sangam.
Work is going on at 9 stations.
Apart from Prayagraj Junction, which is the main station here, there are eight such small and big railway stationsthath have been reconstructed. New foot-over bridges have been built at these railway stations. These stations have been painted. Apart from this, the area around the stations has also been increased for parking facilities. Along with this, permanent holding areas have also been constructed.
20 lakh devotees will come every day
The biggest challenge for the railways in Maha Kumbh will be to manage security. Keeping this in mind, the crowd of about 20 lakhs coming to the railway stations in a day will be monitored through CCTV cameras. 1313 CCTV cameras have been installed for this. RPF jawans will keep a close watch on every person entering the railway station. Apart from this, the main intersections around the stations are also being monitored through CCTV cameras. These control rooms will be directly connected to the district control rooms.
13 thousand trains have been prepared
During this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, ‘For the last two and a half years, preparations are being made for Mahakumbh 2025 under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath. In the last two years, an investment of Rs 5000 crore has been made in the works related to it. The preparations for Mahakumbh 202have beenng reviewed regularly for the last two and a half years. 3000 special trains will be run to serve the devotees on the way. For this, about 10 thousand regular trains will be run. A total of 13 thousand trains have been prepared for Mahakumbh 2025.’
