The winter session of the Indian Parliament is scheduled to commence on the first of December and will conclude on the nineteenth of the same month. This was announced by the Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju. The proposal for these dates was approved by President Droupadi Murmu. Minister Rijiju expressed his hope for a productive and meaningful session that would strengthen the country's democracy and serve the aspirations of the people

The government is anticipating constructive debates on various matters of national importance during this session. It aims to address significant legislative business. This upcoming session is expected to be crucial as the government will likely present several important bills for discussion and passage. The proceedings may also be influenced by the outcomes of recent state assembly elections, setting the stage for robust political discourse.
