Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has brought good news for EPFO subscribers regarding their provident fund money and the overall grievance redressal process The government is introducing a single window system to resolve issues faced by account holders which promises to make the entire experience seamless Previously subscribers faced significant difficulties in withdrawing money from inactive accounts often choosing to abandon the funds rather than deal with the complex process and the paperwork involved The minister stated that the government will now actively identify such inactive accounts and complete their KYC to ensure the money is returned to the rightful owners smoothly through a simple bank transfer process

Mandaviya also highlighted that subscribers will no longer need to run around different offices for dispute resolution as all EPFO offices are being developed as tech enabled integrated service centers This major structural change means that a member can resolve their PF related issues at any regional office across the country regardless of where their account is actually held or where their employer is based eliminating geographical barriers for the workforce In addition the government plans to engage private service providers to assist subscribers in the coming days which will benefit both employees and companies by improving service quality and reducing the hassle associated with claim settlements and account management
