When a celebrity couple of nearly forty years speaks openly about their marriage struggles, people listen. Recently, Sunita Ahuja, the wife of veteran Bollywood actor Govinda, offered an extremely candid perspective on her husband's rumoured extra-marital affairs, and her words have certainly caused a stir in the entertainment news circuit.

Sunita's commentary didn't just touch on her personal feelings; it pointed a critical finger at both her husband's choices and the less-than-glamorous realities faced by newcomers in the film industry. She explained in an interview that she worries greatly because these situations upset their two grown children. "My kids are adults now, and they absolutely get disturbed by all of this," she remarked, making it clear that such gossip affects the entire Ahuja family.

Addressing her husband directly, Sunita’s stance was quite firm: "Govinda," she essentially implied, "You are 63 years old. You cannot be doing this anymore."

She wasn't just critical of Govinda's actions, though. She offered an unfiltered analysis of what attracts struggling women to older, established stars. In her view, many young women arrive in Mumbai seeking roles in films, and when reality hits, they often look for a wealthy sponsor a so-called "sugar daddy"—to cover their daily costs and dreams of a lavish life. The desire to become a 'Heroine' apparently outweighs everything else, sometimes leading them to "entice" or even potentially exploit older celebrities for financial gain and resources. Sunita suggests these relationships often collapse the moment the money stops, leaving the star alone.

Despite the continuous strain and swirling rumours about infidelity which the Hero No. 1 actor has publicly denied, stating he feels his family is unknowingly part of a larger, baseless controversy—Sunita emphasised that faith in your spouse is crucial for any long-lasting marriage. The veteran star wife has shown a clear sense of accountability, stating that while women may try to lure him, an actor of his age and standing should know better. Her determination is palpable; she made it clear she would be unforgiving if definitive proof of infidelity were ever established. Sunita Ahuja’s comments have certainly made everyone in the film fraternity pause and think about the true price of fame and marital stability in show business.
