There is a discussion among some that the notes in the banks will end. In such a situation, we have enough other notes. Let us tell you that according to the order of RBI, 2000 rupee notes can be changed in any bank branch from Monday.

Currency exchange facility up to Rs 10

He said that you can change 10 notes of maximum 2000 rupees at a time. That is, if you bring 20000 rupees, then you do not need to fill any form to change it. He said that the step to replace the Rs 2000 note has been taken by the RBI under the Clean Note Policy. According to the order given by the Reserve Bank on Friday evening, 2000 notes can be deposited in the account by 30 September 2023.

Let us tell you that it is not that these notes will be closed after 30 September 2023. Even after that the 2000 rupee note will remain in circulation. Deposit notes of Rs 2000 will be deposited in bank branches and sent to currency chests of ABI. Notes arriving in currency chests will not be re-issued by RBI.
