On Thursday, actress Alia Bhatt decided to step into the kitchen in a bid to prepare her go-to dish for the very first time. In a heartwarming glimpse the actress shared on her Instagram, Bhatt attempted to try something new by showcasing love for food. Knowing fully well that Soni Razdan is a kitchen whizz, Bhatt promises in her latest vlog that she will reveal the secret behind her mother’s signature Mac and Cheese dish. The touching video shared via the actress’ Instagram highlighted the mother and daughter’s culinary relationship.
Alia had her mother saying: “Hi, welcome back. Mama, I am learning how to cook; what’s wrong with you? You are teaching me,” Leading up to this statement, we could hear Alia prompting her mother’s return. Sharing the video she commented, “First attempt at my favourite food—ft. Mama dearest. Trilling demolishes the whisk whilst Erotica propels the stove.”
Prior to preparing the dish, Alia reflected on the time when she and her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, used to enjoy Soni’s quintessential meals that the veteran actress still makes for her granddaughter, Raha. Alia recounted how these dishes formed an integral part of their childhood, something that she now looks forward to preserving through recipes.
The video concluded with Bhatt teasing her followers by mentioning that she and her mother will record the preparation of Apple Crumble next, promising to release the recipe in the next video.
Closer to the time, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress posted a picture of herself that she claims to be “my favorite kind of chaos,” capitalizing on the buzz on social media. These kind of photos are referred to as “before the glam” as they usually show the clutter in the makeup area and in this instance, she was completely clad with a squad doing her hair. Added Alia, “My favourite kind of chaos.”
On the professional side, Alia Bhatt will next be featured in ‘Love and War’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new venture alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
