Today, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited the sacred Vindhyachal Shaktipeeth temple in Mirzapur, where he offered prayers and performed rituals to worship Goddess Vindhyavasini. Bowing his head at the feet of the Goddess, he prayed for the strength and capability to serve the people of the state.

Speaking to journalists, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya expressed his good fortune in having the opportunity to worship Goddess Vindhyavasini. He stated that he had bowed his head at the Goddess's feet to seek blessings to fulfill the responsibility of serving the state's people with utmost dedication. He expressed full confidence that, just as Goddess Vindhyavasini’s grace has been upon the nation and the state from 2014 to 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government in Uttar Pradesh for the third consecutive time in 2027 with a massive majority, thanks to the Goddess's blessings. He affirmed that the pace of development in the state would continue unabated and that Uttar Pradesh would advance rapidly towards becoming a developed state. Mr. Maurya noted that the 'double-engine' government has served every section of society without discrimination. Numerous schemes are being implemented for the welfare of the poor and farmers, women's empowerment, the bright future of the youth, and the upliftment of the underprivileged. Efforts have been made to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the person standing at the very last rung of the social ladder. He expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies would continue to receive the public's blessings and support in the upcoming assembly elections.
