To eliminate daily commuting hurdles and enhance safety for young women pursuing higher education, authorities have announced the upcoming launch of a dedicated pink bus service operating between Pilibhit and Bareilly. Designed to assist female students commuting from Pilibhit's urban and rural sectors to colleges in Bareilly, the initiative aims to address widespread concerns regarding public transport overcrowding and travel security.

Addressing Student Commuting Challenges

The initiative follows concerted advocacy from local organizations and student representatives:

Representing Student Concerns: Arib Ahmed Warsi, District President of the Root Club social organization, along with Shivam Kashyap, formally submitted a memorandum to transport officials highlighting the severe difficulties faced by female students squeezed into overcrowded regular buses.

Official Approval: Taking the demand into serious consideration, Assistant Regional Manager (ARM) Vipul Parashari confirmed that senior transport officials have reviewed and approved the proposal, with operational rollouts scheduled to commence shortly.

Bolstering Women's Safety: Providing a secure, reliable, and reserved transit environment ensures that female scholars can reach their respective college campuses punctually and without harassment.
