Mathura Junction-Kasganj Train Extended to Achhnera; Check New Timings and Schedule

Railway commuters traveling through Uttar Pradesh have received a major connectivity boost with the North Central Railway officially announcing the extension of the Mathura Junction-Kasganj train service up to Achhnera. Designed to enhance regional mobility and accommodate passenger demand, the extended service will remain operational for a four-month period starting September 1, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
Complete Schedule and Train Timings
Under the revised operational plan, the train service will follow a structured timetable across the extended route connecting Kasganj, Mathura Junction, and Achhnera:
Kasganj to Achhnera Service: Commencing operations from September 1, the train will depart from Kasganj at 9:25 PM, reaching Mathura Junction at 11:50 PM before proceeding toward its extended destination.
Achhnera Return Journey: Operating from September 2 onwards, the return service will depart from Achhnera at 4:20 AM, pass through Mathura Junction at 5:30 AM, and successfully complete its run back to Kasganj by 8:40 AM.
This seamless corridor is expected to significantly benefit daily passengers, students, and local traders commuting between these key regional hubs.
35 Railway Employees Honored for Excellence During Mudia Purnima Fair
In a parallel development highlighting administrative dedication, Agra Division recently hosted a special felicitation ceremony at the Govardhan Hall divisional auditorium. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Gagan Goyal personally honored 35 exemplary railway workers for their tireless and commendable service during the high-pressure Mudia Purnima fair.
The awarded staff represented a diverse spectrum of departments, including Signal and Telecommunications, Mechanical, Medical, Commercial, Electrical, Operations, Scouts and Guides, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Engineering, Finance, and the DRM office. Their coordinated efforts in managing massive crowd movement and ensuring safe passenger transit during the religious fair were deeply appreciated by the railway administration.
