Janata Darshan – Committed to resolving the problems of every individual standing at the last rung of society: Keshav Prasad Maurya
Shri Maurya stated that the core objective of the 'Janata Darshan' (public grievance redressal program) is to ensure that even the person standing at the very back of the queue feels that "the government is with you." He directed officials to address received complaints with sensitivity and ensure a time-bound resolution for every case. Issues related to roads, drains, drainage, drinking water, electricity, housing, rations, pensions, revenue, employment, and financial assistance were raised during the 'Janata Darshan' held today at the Deputy Chief Minister's camp office at 7, Kalidas Marg, Lucknow. The Deputy Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, Chief Minister's Awas Yojana-Gramin, National Rural Livelihood Mission, pension schemes, farmer welfare programs, employment and self-employment initiatives, and women empowerment schemes.
Regarding areas affected by rainfall, Shri Maurya asked officials to exercise special vigilance. He directed that affected areas be continuously monitored and that immediate action be taken to resolve issues such as waterlogging, damage, or other problems. He also ordered that higher-ranking officials be immediately informed of any untoward incident. The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that, alongside delivering the benefits of public welfare schemes to eligible individuals, the resolution of their local grievances must also be ensured. Officials were instructed to act with accountability and promptness in addressing public complaints.
