Enhancing public transportation connectivity for rural communities, the Mainpuri Depot has officially launched a direct roadways bus service connecting Ratheh village in the Kishini area to Agra. The new transit option was met with enthusiastic celebration by local residents, who welcomed the driver and conductor with sweets upon the bus's arrival at the Kishini bus stand, marking a significant milestone for regional mobility.
Daily Schedule and Route Details
According to transport officials, the initiative was spearheaded following local passenger demands under the direction of Mainpuri Depot ARM Sanjeev Kumar.
Morning Departure: Operated by driver Awadhesh Yadav and conductor Pradeep Kumar, the bus departs from Ratheh village daily at 7:00 AM, reaching the Kishini bus stand by 7:30 AM.
Outbound Route: The service travels via Saman Katra, Sauj, Kurra, Karhal, Sirsaganj, Shikohabad, Firozabad, and Tundla, arriving in Agra by 12:00 PM noon.
Return Journey: Leaving Agra at 1:00 PM, the bus reaches the Mainpuri Bus Stand at 5:30 PM, before proceeding via Bhavat, Lekhrajpur, and Saman Katra back to Kishini for an overnight halt.

For residents of Ratheh and surrounding rural sectors, traveling to major commercial and administrative hubs like Agra and Mainpuri previously involved multiple transits and logistical hurdles. The introduction of a direct morning service eliminates these challenges, providing seamless, affordable, and reliable travel for daily commuters, traders, and students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent local figures, including BJP Mandal General Secretary Babi Bhadoria, Station Incharge Suresh Chauhan, Gopal Katheria, Javed Khan, Ashok Saxena, Munesh Savita, and Mayank Rawat, who commended the transport department for prioritizing rural connectivity and passenger convenience.
