CM Yogi Pens 49th Letter Urging Citizens to Join Historic Deepotsav

Post

Upholding his dedicated weekly communication outreach with the public alongside routine Janata Darshan grievance sessions and Gau Seva in Lucknow and Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released his 49th official open letter (Pati) to citizens on Monday, November 2, 2026. The Chief Minister extended heartfelt festive greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming grand Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya Dham. In the communication, Adityanath warmly appealed to residents across districts to travel to the sacred temple town with their families and friends, inviting them to personally witness the divine cultural spectacle and become part of a global spiritual celebration.

Renaissance of Cultural Pride: Invoking Lord Ram’s Return and Bharata’s Duty

Characterizing the festival of lights as a renaissance of eternal consciousness and civilizational pride, the Chief Minister reflected on how Deepotsav serves as a bridge to sacred traditions and universal life values. He noted that while the celebrations commemorate Lord Shri Ram’s triumphant return to Ayodhya, the festival carries the enduring philosophical message of sacrifice and dedicated service exemplified by Prince Bharata. For fourteen continuous years, Bharata governed selflessly by placing Lord Ram’s sacred sandals (charan paduka) upon the royal throne, reminding humanity that authority and power are not personal privileges or absolute rights, but sacred responsibilities entrusted for the welfare of the public.

Lamps of Faith and Economy: Transforming UP Through Security, Investment, and Jobs

Detailing the grand scale of the upcoming arrangements on the holy banks of the Saryu River, Adityanath shared that millions of earthen lamps will be arranged along Ram Ki Paidi and surrounding ghats, creating a divine garland of illumination. He emphasized that the spiritual spectacle doubles as a substantial grassroots economic catalyst, generating significant direct revenue and trade opportunities for traditional potters, local flower cultivators, artisanal vendors, and the regional hospitality sector. Concluding his message, the Chief Minister highlighted that public participation and faith have redefined Uttar Pradesh as a dynamic festive state, stating that where light prevails, security is assured—and where robust security thrives, industrial investment flows, accelerating modern development and creating sustainable employment for local youth.
