Beyond presenting the formal citations and state medals, the Chief Minister announced an ongoing monthly financial allowance of ₹1,000 per month for every gallantry medal recipient in the state force. The event also served as the official platform for unveiling the book "Sangharsh", penned by former Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) and Padma Shri awardee Prakash Singh, which captures pivotal historical insights and reform blueprints from his service years.
