CM Yogi Celebrates Janmashtami in Mathura: Offers Special Prayers in the Sanctum Sanctorum During His Landmark Twentieth Visit

As devotional fervor gripped the sacred town of Mathura for the auspicious celebrations of Lord Krishna Janmashtami, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived to participate in the grand festivities. Marking a significant milestone, this visit represents his twentieth trip to the holy birthplace of Lord Krishna while holding the office of Chief Minister. Touching down at the hallowed shrine, the CM partook in sacred rituals and immersed himself in the divine atmosphere of the temple city.

Special Darshan and Silver-Plated Sanctum Sanctorum

Upon arriving at the birthplace complex at 9:55 AM on Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath headed straight to the sacred sanctum sanctorum to offer heartfelt prayers. The inner sanctum featured breathtaking silver-plated wall embellishments, creating an ethereal aura for the festivities. Spending a considerable amount of time in rapt devotion, the Chief Minister gazed affectionately at the deity of 'Lala' seated within the sacred shrine, taking in the magnificent spiritual scenery orchestrated for the birth anniversary.

Official Welcomes and Temple Itinerary Across Mathura

During his visit, CM Yogi was warmly received and felicitated by senior officials and representatives of the Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan. Following his prayers at the primary sanctum, the Chief Minister's itinerary includes paying obeisance at the historic Yogmaya Temple, the revered Keshavdev Temple, and the grand Bhagwat Bhavan.

Having arrived in Mathura a day prior and staying overnight at the Veterinary University, the Chief Minister is scheduled to address thousands of gathered pilgrims and extend his warm Janmashtami greetings directly from the temple premises, reinforcing the state government's dedication to preserving and celebrating India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
