Marking Teachers' Day with a powerful message on academic integrity and national development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that education must remain entirely insulated from political influences. Speaking at a grand State Teacher Award Ceremony held at the Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium in Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister honored 81 exceptional educators from across the state. Emphasizing that schools serve as the sacred foundation of society and nation-building, CM Yogi urged teachers to dedicate their efforts wholeheartedly to shaping young minds, fostering moral values, and nurturing student talent free from any self-interest or political bias.

Honoring 81 Outstanding Educators at the Gorakhpur Ceremony

The celebratory event served as a statewide recognition of academic excellence, highlighting the pivotal role teachers play in transforming the educational landscape. During the ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath felicitated 81 distinguished teachers from across Uttar Pradesh, comprising 61 educators from basic education and 20 from secondary institutions. Among them, 76 received the prestigious State Teacher Award, while five exceptional mentors were honored with the Chief Minister's Teacher Award. Each awardee was presented with a certificate of recognition, a memento, and a cash prize of 25,000 rupees in acknowledgment of their inspiring dedication.

Beyond the Curriculum: Instilling Values and Embracing Innovation

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister stressed that a true teacher is far more than someone who merely finishes a prescribed syllabus; they act as lifelong guides whose personal conduct and work ethic directly shape impressionable students. Noting that willpower and dedication often triumph over limited school resources, he lauded educators who use innovation to completely revolutionize government schools. He emphasized that education extends far beyond scoring high marks in examinations, making it imperative for teachers to instill discipline, social sensitivity, and strong moral values. Furthermore, CM Yogi encouraged educators to stay technologically updated, viewing digital tools as powerful mediums to make learning more engaging while urging awardees to share their best practices to elevate the entire state's educational framework.
