The sweeping reorganization impacts leadership in critical administrative territories, changing the police chiefs across districts including Basti, Jaunpur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Mau, Muzaffarnagar, Barabanki, Hapur, and Azamgarh. Along with ground-level district changes, key senior leadership appointments were executed at the state headquarters level to oversee specialized wings like traffic, road safety, and criminal investigations.

The formal transfer order issued by the state home department restructures several prominent postings across Eastern Uttar Pradesh:

Jaunpur Gets New Police Chief: Basti Superintendent of Police (SP) Yashveer Singh has been transferred and posted as the new Superintendent of Police of Jaunpur.

Basti Leadership Transition: Ballia SP Omveer Singh has been shifted to take over as the new Superintendent of Police of Basti.

Ballia and Ghazipur Appointments: Ghazipur SP Iraj Raja moves to take charge as the new SP of Ballia, while Jalaun SP Vinay Kumar Singh steps in to head the Ghazipur district police.

Jaunpur SP Relocated to State HQ: Outgoing Jaunpur SP Kunwar Anupam Singh has been transferred to the state capital, posted at the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) Headquarters in Lucknow.

Key Postings in Mau, Hapur, and Baghpat: IPS Sarvesh Kumar Mishra takes charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Mau, while Madhuvan Kumar Singh moves from Azamgarh to lead Hapur, and Purnendu Singh is posted from DGP Headquarters to serve as SP of Baghpat.

Movements in Jalaun and Mathura: IPS Suresh Chandra Rawat has been shifted from Mathura to take command of Jalaun, while Alok Raj Narayan transitions from Hardoi to take charge in Mathura.
