In the accident, car driver Rajeev alias Raju Tiwari (48), Devraj Dwivedi (65), Lakshmi Dwivedi (70) and Kailashi (54) died on the spot. Mohit, Shivshankar and Devi Prasad were seriously injured. Shiv Shankar and Devi Prasad have been referred to Kanpur as their condition is critical.
Circle Officer Atarra Ziauddin said that on Monday morning, Badausa police station received information that a Bolero car had hit a tree. Four people in the car died in this accident. The police sent the dead bodies for post-mortem and the injured to the district hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
