Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday claimed that the unemployment rate in the state was more than 17 percent in the year 2016, which has now come down to just four to five percent. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing the function organized after distributing toolkits and loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana to the trained beneficiaries under Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana at Lok Bhavan here on Friday said that “For the last one and a half years the whole world has been suffering from global pandemic Kovid- 19, in such circumstances, the country had to impose a lockdown and during the lockdown, more than 40 lakh migrant workers and laborers had returned to the state.
Yogi Adityanath said that during this period, traditional artisans, handicraftsmen, and entrepreneurs developed such a system, which along with their self-reliance has given impetus to the Prime Minister’s concept of making a self-reliant India. The Chief Minister said that “the population of the state is 24 crores, the unemployment rate in the state is very low as compared to other states of the country and in the year 2016, the unemployment rate in the state was more than 17 percent, whereas today it has come down to only four to five percent.” Gone.”
According to the government statement released on Friday, through this program organized across the state, 21,000 beneficiaries were disbursed toolkits and 11,000 beneficiaries were disbursed loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. The Chief Minister said that this year, on the occasion of Deepotsav, the target is to light seven and a half lakh days in Ayodhya and this diyas will be made in Ayodhya itself.
He said that on the coming October 6, 20 years of public service of Narendra Modi as Chief Minister and Prime Minister are being completed and he (Modi) has given a new direction to the country with his leadership ability. His public services are being organized by the Uttar Pradesh government from today from September 17 to October 7, 2021, in the form of Vikas Utsav.
Yogi said that more than 68,400 people have been trained under Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana. The program was addressed by many prominent people including Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Siddharth Nath Singh, Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Chaudhary Udaybhan Singh.
