While Relocating the tariffs with Japan negotiations are underway, Dondald Trump stirs criticism over longstanding alliances between Japan and USA, labeling the treaty “so one-sided” on defense Washington and Tokyo prepare to enter.

In his diversions during remarks centered on trade, the president bluntly called out what he sees is off balance in the alliance “We pay all the money. They don’t pay anything.”

While this is not the first time Trump has brought up '**who's the scapegoat**' amidst the deal signed in 1960, this comment sure captures the focus of the media debating whether they are a bargaining chip for upcoming negotiations on trade deals.

Going back to the critics, striking this treaty avails comes with a horde of implications and Trump withheld aiming at other pre-specified targets such as China.

It's people who either hate our country, or did not care, so I just wonder who did this,” he noted while referring to the post-war security agreement stipulating the U.S. obligation to defend Japan if attacked, but does not require Japan to obligate an equivalent defense to the US.

Trump has continually claimed that other nations have repeatedly been allowed to take advantage of US military and economic resources without providing benefits to the US in return, and this continues to sustain his foreign policy agenda.
