Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The liver is essential for digestion, detoxification, and metabolism. It ails for an array of dangers if it is diseased or damaged, which may turn out to be life threatening. Here are five liver conditions that require immediate medical intervention.
1. Cirrhosis
Cirrhosis is the liver condition that occurs because of long-term chronic alcohol use or hepatitis infections, as it involves intense destruction of liver tissues. Along with scar tissues replacing the healthy liver cells, liver functions are crippled in the process. 5. Acute Liver Failue
A rare but highly dangerous condition, acute liver failure is characterized by the rapid loss of liver functionality. It may result from drug abuse—overdosing on paracetamol—or from viral infections, pregnancy, and autoimmune disorders. Treatment must start immediately to increase chances of survival.
