Three arrested, including a mother and son, who reached the shop to sell stolen jewellery

Chatra, 24 May (his). Chatra police have arrested three accused, including a mother and son, who came to sell stolen jewelery in the shop. Among the arrested accused are Mo Faiz, his mother Akalima Khatoon and Rahul Kumar.

All three are residents of Line Mohalla in Sadar Police Station area. 11 pieces of anklets, one pair of bonglis, eight pieces of earrings, two neck chains, one piece of earrings, six pieces of silver, four pieces of top, one neck chain, one ring, one golden watch of Titan Company, three nakkesars and four smart phones and Four key pad mobiles have been recovered.

SDPO Avinash Kumar said on Wednesday that information was received that Mo Faiz and his mother Akalima Khatoon were preparing to sell gold jewelery at a jewelery shop in Keshari Chowk. On receiving information, a raiding team was formed. Acting swiftly, the team nabbed Mo Faiz and his mother along with gold jewelery near Keshari Chowk.

In the interrogation, the accused said that the goods were stolen. Along with this, some stolen goods were asked to be kept hidden in the house.
