Suspense crime, Digital Desk : India's top diplomat, S. Jaishankar, has laid bare the sinister motives behind the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, stating it was a calculated attempt to not only spread fear but to fundamentally destabilize Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking at an event in Nashik, the External Affairs Minister addressed the attack that injured a tourist couple from Rajasthan. He argued that this wasn't just a random act of violence but a deliberate strategy by terrorists who are threatened by the region's return to normalcy.

According to Jaishankar, the attackers had two specific, dark goals in mind:

Jaishankar emphasized that these tactics are a sign of desperation. He pointed out that as peace and development take root in Kashmir, those who thrive on violence and instability are losing their influence.

"The people of Kashmir have rejected this path," he asserted, expressing confidence that the security forces would track down those responsible for the cowardly act. His message was clear: the attack was not a show of strength, but a desperate and failing attempt to reverse the clock on Kashmir's progress.
