It seems that Vivo is working on launching a new, more budget-friendly device which would expand its V-series lineup. A device that recently showed up on Geekbench, a widely known benchmarking appraisal tool, seems to be the forthcoming Vivo V60 Lite, thus revealing some performance expectations.
The gadget seems to be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, which is somewhat the standard. The performance mentioned, its codename, or even the motherboard identifier suggests that there is at least a good and mid-range processor from the Snapdragon 7-series family. This reinforces the assumption that the V60 Lite is to be equipped to readily deal with routine tasks, social media, and even some casual gaming.
As for the Geekbench test, the device is powered with Android 15, which guarantees that the phone would have the latest software features. The phone running with 8GB RAM is not a lot, but for a mid-range device is gracious and coupled with good multitasking capabilities.
In regard to the scores themselves, the V60 Lite performed well with scores that we expect to see from a mid-range smartphone. These numbers don’t paint the full picture, they show that Vivo is trying to strike the right balance with a performance smartphone ensconced in mid-range prices.
For now, this is all we have, as the rest of the information like the camera, battery, and display specs are still a secret. However, a Geekbench sighting usually indicates that a launch is imminent, so we expect to hear more from Vivo in the following weeks. The Vivo V60 Lite is impressively positioned and seems to be a great smartphone option for those seeking a reliable, modern smartphone at an affordable price.
