The Jaisalmer administration will resettle the displaced people in Mulsagar village

Jaisalmer, May 24 (Hindustan Times). Pakistani migrants whose illegal occupations were removed by the UIT in Amarsagar area near the district headquarters will now be resettled in Moolsagar village on the initiative of the administration.

The resettlement of the evacuees at the new location started on Wednesday. District Collector Tina Dabi visited the land identified for crop evacuees of Moolsagar village on Wednesday evening and reviewed the leveling work. Pakistani migrants will be settled here with basic facilities till they get Indian citizenship. There is a wave of happiness among the refugees as the land is marked. Those people congratulated each other by feeding sweets. For this, the Pakistani migrants thanked Collector Tina Dabi wholeheartedly. The women garlanded the collector madam and blessed her with a daughter.

It is worth mentioning that on 16th May Measles no. 32 Illegal encroachments of occupied crops displaced families were removed. Later the matter got heated. Realizing the gravity, the district administration arranged temporary accommodation for the evacuees from Amarsagar at the municipal council’s night shelter at Dedansar.

Sarhad Lok Sanganthan President Hindu Singh Sodha expressed his happiness and thanked the Collector Madam and hoped that this Jaisalmer model of housing Pakistani displaced people would be successful in the whole country.
