A new chapter has been added to the history of the Bangladesh cricket team. Bangladesh team has got the first batsman who has achieved a special position in Test cricket. This batsman is none other than the team’s experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim who has created a new record by completing 6 thousand runs in Test cricket.
The first test match is being played between Bangladesh and New Zealand at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. On the very first day of the match, the entire Bangladesh team collapsed for just 106 runs in the first innings. After this, South Africa scored 308 runs in their first innings on the second day. As soon as Mushfiqur Rahim added 28 runs to his account shortly before the end of the day’s play, he created a new history by completing 6000 Test runs. Rahim has become the first Bangladesh batsman to score 6000 runs in Tests. Before this, no batsman had been able to do this feat for Bangladesh.
