Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Hyderabad, India – Telugu actress Kalpika Ganesh has found herself in legal trouble after the management of a pub in Hyderabad filed a police complaint against her, alleging that she created a ruckus and damaged property.
The incident reportedly took place at a pub located in the city's upscale Jubilee Hills area. According to the complaint filed with the Jubilee Hills police, the altercation began when Kalpika and her friends requested that the Disc Jockey (DJ) play a Telugu song. The DJ declined the request, explaining that it was against the pub's established music policy.
This refusal led to a heated argument between the actress's group and the pub staff. The situation allegedly escalated when Kalpika Ganesh, in a fit of anger, picked up a plate and threw it toward the DJ console, causing damage to the equipment.
Following the incident, the pub's management formally lodged a complaint. The police have registered a case against the actress under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), specifically Section 427 for "mischief causing damage" and Section 341 for "wrongful restraint."
Authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is now underway to verify the claims and determine the sequence of events.
