Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Local tribal elders described how a suspected drone attack in the Mir Ali area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday claimed the lives of four children and injured five others. The incident sparked widespread rioting as mourning parents placed the slain children on the roadway demanding interrogations to los the authorities.

Mufti Baitullah, Local elder stated:

“We are not blaming anyone, but we want justice. The government should tell us who killed our kids.”

He also reiterated that violence could be triggered if the answers given do not meet satisfactory standards Addin:

“We will not bury the bodies until we are told who is responsible.”

No Response or Claim Has Been Made

Pakistani armed forces have yet to respond to the unverified attack, alongside battling the Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP – a Pakistani terror group) who frequently engage in conflict with state military forces. The drone assault was executed over volatile yet strategic borders of Pakistan with no undeniable evidence authenticated.

The region Mir Ali, which falls within the North Waziristan district, has been known for some time now as a hotspot for militant activities.
