Sonakshi Sinha has always looked stunning in Indian cinema. Her looks, ranging from the adorably simple girl-next-door in Dabangg to the contemporary stylish sari in Sari Ke Fall Sa, always leaves a mark. In the song Desi Kalaakar, she skillfully rocked traditional wear, casual glam, and even some daring looks. Regardless of the outfit, Sonakshi possesses a semblance of self-confidence that is refreshing to see.
Sonakshi shared a video on her YouTube channel while attending a wedding in Jaipur and gave her fans a glimpse of her travel must-haves. She disclosed the contents of her bag for a wedding and stated that she considers three kits indispensable: makeup, haircare, and skincare. Unfortunately for her, her husband walked in right after she showed her makeup kit, so she was unable to elaborate further.
A Glimpse into Sonakshi’s Makeup Kit
Sonakshi’s arsenal was loaded! Whatever the occasion, she was ready to put her best foot forward. And if she was sporting an Indian attire, choosing which bindi to wear became another task in and of itself. So of course, a bindi or two were readily available in her kit. That was not all though, a threading kit, bobby pins, and even safety pins were present…just in case.
Being the free spirit that Sonakshi was, she never planned her make-up because she was extremely unpredictable. She had several eyeshadow palettes, on stand-by. Something she did mention was that whatever outfit she decided to wear determined what make-up and accessories needed to be applied. Hence, having lot of options is key. So, in addition to her multi-purposed tinted sun-screen, she also had three different color foundations, along with contour products and under-eye creams.
All that being said, the one compartment Sonakshi had the most fun with was lipsticks. Sonakshi fully embraces any chance to stand out, so she had 12 different lipsticks on stand-by ranging from soft, nude pink to bold, bright pink. While commenting about her beauty collection, she quipped that make-up should never lack, especially when it comes to lipsticks! To support her statement, she quoted her husband saying: “Love must never lack, just like lipsticks.” Along with her expansive lipstick pouch, Sonakshi also carried an SPF lip balm with her for extra moisture and protection.
Aside from her make-up products, she packed every tool that would help her finish off her look. Everything was carefully organized in her kit; a sharpener, beauty blenders, makeup brushes, mascara, eye shadow, and eye liners. She also had a special tool to aid her in getting the most perfect winged eyeliner. She demonstrated how she places it at the corner of her eye to achieve the ideal cat-eye shape, proving that even celebrities use life-saving hacks for their makeup. One of her essentials was a Kay Beauty eyebrow pencil, a product from for Keatrina Kaif’s brand which she uses for perfectly sculpted brows.

Just as she was about to start her haircare skincare routine and show the products, her husband walked in and ended the video for her. With laughter, she revealed that he was not going to allow her to finish, prompting the audience wondering what else was in the other two bags.
