Leaks and rumors are already painting a detailed picture of the upcoming OnePlus 15, and the latest buzz is all about the color options and a few other interesting design details.
According to the latest information, reportedly from reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in three distinct colors. These are said to be an "Absolute Black," a "Mist Purple," and a titanium or gray shade called "Dune."[ It's also rumored that this "Dune" color will be the hero color used in marketing materials.
Interestingly, the different color options might also come with different weights. The Absolute Black and Mist Purple versions are expected to weigh around 215 grams, while the Dune variant is tipped to be slightly lighter at 211 grams. This has led to speculation that the Dune model might feature a different back material, possibly a vegan leather finish, similar to what OnePlus has done in the past.
Beyond the colors, the OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be a powerhouse. Here's what the rumor mill is suggesting:
- Massive Battery: One of the standout features is a rumored 7,000mAh battery, a significant upgrade, with 120W fast charging. Incredibly, this larger battery is expected to add only a gram or two to the phone's overall weight compared to its predecessor.
- Upgraded Display: The phone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen with a super-smooth 165Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution.
- Generous Storage: Leaks suggest that the base model will start with a generous 256GB of storage, with options going all the way up to 1TB.
- Camera Changes: OnePlus is ending its partnership with Hasselblad and will instead use its own "DetailMax" imaging engine. The camera setup is rumored to include a triple 50MP rear camera system, featuring an improved periscope telephoto lens for better zoom capabilities.
- New Design: Leaked renders hint at a redesigned camera module on the back, moving from a circular shape to a square one in the top left corner.
The OnePlus 15 is expected to be officially unveiled in China later this year, likely followed by a global release in early 2026.
