'Shikhar Pahariya’s savage response to the casteist troll who tried to attack caped over his dashan with Janhvi was ‘Chamar? No, it’s your mentality’'

Janvhi Kapoor's boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, came under fire recently from a troll who made a vile post using casteist slurs. And believe me, he didn’t let it go by unchallenged. If you've assumed Shikhar only specializes in comfort photoshoots with Janvhi and their cute puppies, you are mistaken. This dude is completely against any form of backward thinking.

When Shikhar Pahariya received toxicity disguised as a troll, he gave them an iconic clapback.

This whole saga began when Shikhar posted what he termed as a heartwarming Diwali post in October of 2024. The post showed him wishing his followers a simple festive and joyful occasion along with shared companions. However, in a classic troll fashion, one user commented, “Lekin tu toh dalit hai” followed with a laughing emoji. Yes, you read that right, 2025 had a user making a casteist remark. Someone explain that logic to me!

Now skip ahead to March 18th, 2025 where Shikhar had reached his boiling point. Then, he went to his stories on Instagram, posted a screenshot of the troll’s comment and blasted their mentality for lacking context. To put it lightly, he responded with something hotter than the Diwali snacks.

Shikhar Pahariya’s reaction to trolls

In a swift response, Shikhar labelled the troll as “small” “backward” and downright hopeless. Not only did he use those terms to tear down the troll, but he also dismantled the user's entire logic by stating, “It’s beyond pathetic” to still have such primitive thinking in the modern day. Now, that is a statement ready to clash with the blind followers of trolls.

In a savage mic-drop moment, Shikhar concluded and suggested his troll teach themselves because, in this case, the only “untouchable” thing was their ignorance. Whew, that’s how to deal with a troll!

Shikhar Pahariya questioned Pahariya’s Diwali post

Shikhar’s Diwali post had a particularly unifying and gratitude showcasing message about wishing people tending to uplift each other instead of being downgrading. Clearly the troll did not get that memo.

While Shikhar and Janhvi Kapoor have maintained most of their relations out of the public eye, this moment shed some light on the plight of online hate. The couple's cute pictures and their outings tend to attract attention for all the good reasons, but these events are a sombreing reminder of the dark side of the online world.

Fans very rapidly came out in support of Shikhar and praised him for his open confrontation. “Man took ‘zero chill’ to the next level and we are here for it!” said a follower. One said, “Shikhar just made sure everyone knows that ‘ignorance’ is not ‘bliss.’ It’s embarrassing.”
