Shaun Pollock speaks on Indian fast bowlers, know what is the big thing

Mumbai: Former South African cricket captain Shaun Pollock said that the Indian team is in a very strong position right now because their fast bowling attack is good. Shaun Pollock also said that there is healthy competition to get a place in the team which is even better for the Indian team. Shaun Pollock said on the pit stop show on Sony Network, The Indian team is in a very strong position right now as far as fast bowling is concerned. Depth in bowling, the variety you have, you have some tall players and some short, fast, capable, bowler moving balls. You can choose between them, you have a good balance.

Former fast bowler Shaun Pollock said, if you want to play with three fast bowlers and four bowlers, then you have players who can play. Gone are the days when you had Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad, but not their options… as in South Africa. Third bowler and backup bowler. They may not have been of that level at that time. I feel that India has corrected this deficiency.

Former right-arm bowler Shaun Pollock said, “I think you guys are in good shape and you have quality.” There is also a competition to make a place in the team. I had a talk with Jaspreet Bumrah yesterday and he was saying that it is a good thing that everyone is competing, ready to play, you have to perform consistently. If some of your matches do not go well then someone else can come and take your place. Therefore, the situation in India is good.

Regarding the ban on saliva, Pollock said that it is hoped that it will not last long. He said you can use sweat on the ball. Hopefully, we don’t have to do this for long. Hopefully, it will not be more than three-six months and after that, we can come back to normal. For example New Zealand, they have started the domestic league and there will not be this issue because they do not have a virus.
