Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In a terrifying moment that underscores the hidden dangers of filmmaking, actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa miraculously escaped injury after a piece of heavy equipment crashed down beside them during a shoot. The incident, captured in a now-viral video, occurred on the international set of their upcoming romantic drama, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, in Turkey.
The actors were in the middle of performing for a romantic song sequence, completely absorbed in their roles. Suddenly, without warning, a massive lighting structure detached from its mounting and plummeted to the ground, landing just inches from where they stood.
The video footage is chilling. One moment, Rane and Bajwa are emoting for the camera; the next, they are flinching back in shock and disbelief as the rig slams into the floor. Their immediate, startled reactions show just how close they came to a potential tragedy.
Fortunately, both stars were able to step away completely unharmed, though they were clearly shaken by the near-miss. The "freak accident" has since sparked conversations about on-set safety protocols during complex productions. While the focus of the day was romance and music, the incident served as a stark and frightening reminder that the magic of cinema often comes with very real risks. The team, relieved that disaster was averted, is continuing with the production.
