Starting now, Samsung users from the United States, South Korea, and India will have access to the One UI 7.0 Beta version. Previously, the update was only reserved for the S24 series, but now owners of the S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra models are free to enjoy the customized software’s interface ahead of its official debut.
According to the Samsung community forums, the beta update is only available for Galaxy users with unlocked models. In India, the S23 models are getting a firmware update with S918BXXU8ZYC3 while the other models are receiving S918BOXM8ZYC3 and S918BXXU8DYC3. In addition, the update comes with March 2025 security patches so users remain protected with currently updated security measures.
The new One UI 7 beta update has a size of almost 4.6GB and alters the previous interface alongside improving Snapchat Galaxy AI features. Users can experience newly added advanced tools for writing, smarter transcription during calls, and the newly introduced “Now Bar” which showcases actions that are important across other apps. Additionally, the update renews the cover page, reshapes widgets, changes the lock screen structure and updates the camera configuration.
It's said that anyone wanting to test the beta version may sign up via the Samsung Members app. Still, users must remember that, like any beta software, it's especially important to backup critical information prior to installing to protect against major data loss or instability concerns.
Samsung recently announced that the beta program for One UI 7 is already available for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The update will likely come to several more devices, like the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy A55, soon. Expect a stable version of One UI 7 to start rolling out worldwide around April.
